Get to know Cuernavaca
Capital of the state of Morelos
Located just one hour from Mexico City, Cuernavaca is the capital of the State of Morelos, is one of the oldest cities in Mexico, it is located at an altitude of 5,000 feet and the daytime temperature is between 70º F. to 85º F. throughout the year. Its climate is semitropical, warm and sunny. The hottest months are from March to May. Light clothing is appropriate most of the year. Showers can be expected every day from May to the end of September, at this time the mornings and evenings are cool and you might need a sweater. Most of the time casual dress is common in Cuernavaca.
In the city center
You can find places of interest such as the Cathedral, the Borda Garden, the Palacio de Cortés, the Government Palace, the Plazuela del Zacate, archaeological zones as well as cinemas, museums, restaurants, pharmacies, bus stations and other services.
